Construction Details:

For patterns I used McCalls 5186 for the vest and Butterick 4861 for the knickerbockers. I ordered the fabric from fabric.com and the socks from sockdreams.com.

Personal Thoughts:

I'm not really into steampunk or lolita, but I do have an interest in Victorian clothing. After I decided to go to Anachrocon here in town I thought it would be a good opportunity to start experimenting with kodona as a way do something with Victorian inspired clothing. I wanted to do something a bit more colorful than an outfit like this typically would be. And after finding some fabrics I liked on fabric.com I settled on this color scheme. I also really wanted to involve prints like plaid and stripes because of the Victorian influence.
