About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- Katsucon was my 4th time wearing my Sailor Moon costume, so I decided to change it up a bit by making her 1st manga brooch and choker. The brooch is actually a bottle cap that I spray painted, the moon and star are buttons, and the gems are cabochons attached to the underside with a combo of wire and interfacing. The choker's charm is made of cabochons too. I glued them to interfacing, carefully cut the charm out and added an eyepin so I could stitch it to the choker ribbon :)
- Personal Thoughts:
- lol, do a new brooch, a new choker and a new wand even equal a new costume? XD;;;;;
Update Feb 2013: I made her mask and the cape she wears in some of the artbook pictures! The cape is peachskin and attaches with snaps underneath the sailor collar :)
My next project is to remake the chest armor/sleeves and skirt's waistband ^^
