Construction Details:

The dress is made from stretch velvet, the cape from velvet, and all trimmed with the same black fur. I had actually wanted to make this costume a year earlier, but the fur was on backorder!

Personal Thoughts:

Maetel has been on my cosplay to do list for years. I remember reading Galaxy Express 999 in old Animerica magazines. But I finally bought the fabric when I knew I was going to a con with AmazonMandy as Emeraldas and TheMattyShow as Harlock. I am so honored they pulled out their stunning costumes to take photos with me!
