Construction Details:

I went a different route then the traditional way of casting clay with plaster than pouring latex in the mold. Instead I built up the frame of the mask with craft foam. Craft is flexible so it will move with the latex. Next I supported the nose part with foamboard so it would solid. After that I used a sketchy cloth over the entire mask. Then you applied several layers of liquid latex on the fabric until the fabric texture is gone. As for painting, I used acrylics with a little bit of latex mixed in so it would bind and not chip off.
