Construction Details:

I like big skirts, and I cannot lie. The hot-pink is cotton, the darker pink is silk, and the bodice is I believe satin or silk (they're the same to me, haha. The skirt is two petticoats: one hoop-skirt and then a little poodleskirt petticoat atop it, in order to add one more tier to get the right shape.
I drafted my own patterns for this, and I'm SO happy the bodice fit perfectly the first time I put it on :D

Personal Thoughts:

Selphie Fairy and I have been itching to make the Tremaine Sisters for almost two years now. They're ridiculously fun characters to encounter in the parks, and it's great to have an excuse to be obnoxious and not-very-pretty while in-costume. Because that's how I usually am in every costume.

This is probably one of my favorite costumes, because it's SUPER COMFY and I don't have to worry about looking nice for photos.

I got to wear this with my friend Brittany to WDW's Halloween party and had a BLAST! We even met the REAL Tremaines! Oh and Tarzan. Mmmm, me likey. And the pirates wanted me, "the redhead." :D
