Personal Thoughts:

I've wanted to make Al for years. So when I ended up with a long violet wig, a few--very few-- yards of white duchess satin, and too much time on my hands, I thought, "eh, no time like the present..." I worked really hard when I first started--that skirt is something I'm really proud of--but kind of slacked off when finishing it. The front bow in particular kind of looks pretty bad, but I finished this with literally about 12 square inches to spare and I can't find the same material to match. So... yeah. The ribbon is the kind with the wire edges to get that magical floating look. :) I started making her weird wing things, but they've become a bigger pain in the ass than they're worth. I may finish them later, we'll see. This costume could never have been done without a serger for those tiny ruffles. Used a friend's. I really, really need to get one of those! So useful. Zig zag stitch REALLY can't compare, sorry guys. I need to do a right proper photoshoot with this. Someday.
