About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- This costume was very fun and simple! Simplicity is beauty to me! This is under done in my opinion! Anyways, here are the details of the costume!: WIG: The wig was purchased on eBay and was trimmed and styled by my friend Andrea! It was her first time ever styling a wig and I loved how it came out! The wig I purchased was this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/Sakura-Cosplay-WIG-Gold-Lotahk-/180429676762?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2a027260da CAPE: It was commissioned by my good friend since I didn't know how to sew. It's not too thick or too thin either! She made it from brown bed sheet she purchased and used for herself as well! She added the golden belt part and velcro as well! SHORTS: The shorts I purchased myself from eBay since I didn't find any in stores in time before the event! They were only $15 and they're amazingly comfortable! I need to add the white trim onto it, but overall, they're perfect I think! SHIRT: The shirt was found within my closet! I need to trim the sleeves, but I rolled the sleeves up a bit to make it work to my liking for the event! BOOTS: I'm sad I don't have much a good shot of my boots within the picture! I'm getting a pair of new boots this year to replace them and giving my boots to my friend Andrea, but the boots were very affordable and comfortable! They're brown suede boots purchased from a store online called http://zooshoo.com/! They're shoes are affordable, ship fast, and are very comfortable! GLOVES: Again, these were very easy! However, I need to replace them for they got ruined a day after the event. They were black leather winter gloves that I used for the event! I plan on purchasing newer ones soon! GUN: A child gun I borrowed from my friend Jen. I'm hoping that Andrea can make me a new gun, one that'll last long enough! BELTS: These were purchased at Kohl's. BAG: Believe it or not, that's my purse xD! I found a cleaver way to attach them onto my belt and tada! No one could tell it was my purse! I plan on having someone make the gun holster as well as an exact bag! Until now, my purse works.
