Construction Details:

This was probably my favorite costume of 2010. Gown, choker, and hair accessory were made by The House of Canney. I just asked for specific fabric and method of applying the one-winged eagle designs. The dress itself is in three parts: the bodice, the burgundy underskirt, and the black overskirt.A purchased 4 hoop hoopskirt is worn under the the burgundy skirt for a full poof effect. The wig was a collaboration between myself and Kawaii Wigs and was quite difficult! I wore this to nearly every convention I attended this year and enjoyed all the gatherings. Of course, this just opened the door to all the other Umineko costumes I want to do. Rhodes Hall and Oakland Cemetery made wonderful backdrops in Atlanta for photographs!
