Construction Details:

Since finishing the comics and loving the movie, I've wanted to dress as Ramona Flowers from Scott Pilgrim. I choose the cover of volume five for my costume design.

I bought pieces of the costume from various places and altered them to fit the look I needed. The coat was altered by adding the ten straps on the arms. The shirt was cut and sewn to better fit me, and also altered to include thumb holes. The wig was cut at an angle and the bangs were cut in and shaped to match the look I needed.

The necklace is a long string of leather that I tied around my neck. Her subspace bag was handmade from scratch without a pattern and is actually functional as a real bag! Fingernails were painted to match the pink shorts and bag.

Boots, tights, shorts, and belts were not altered.
