I've had the dress of this costume sitting in my closet mostly finished for several years, so I'm happy to have pulled it out and finally complete it. I've always liked Misato a lot, and it had been a goal of mine for a long time to cosplay her. I patterned the jacket and constructed it with 3 different poplins. I didn't want to make it leather on account of her having a matching skirt to go with it and it not looking leathery in much of the art. The jacket was completed in a few days in my spare time. Thanks to Honnou for making the cross for me. I thought I was going to debut this costume at AX, but didn't and he was nice enough to make it when I was stressed and very strapped for time.
