Construction Details:

Mirai is the adorable site mascot from Danny Choo’s website. I had the urge to cosplay her for a while and since summer is wrapping up it seemed like the best time to do it! The costume’s top was self-patterned. I’m pretty quick at making various sailor fukus now XD The orange material is poplin, and the white is a stretch poplin. I made the bias tape from the shirt material. The ‘d’ logos are machine embroidered on. All together the costume took only a few days of work to complete, including the pattern drafting and mock-up stages. I’m happy with the results and love wearing the costume. It’s cheery colors and very comfortable!
