About this Costume
Construction Details:
IDK MY BFF SPANDEX HOUSE? God this costume. For something that looked pretty easy enough to make it certainly gave me a heart attack. Umister and I made these together so we could be as similar as possible, and she also helped me overcome my fear of wig styling! I think I went through an entire bottle of tacky glue on mine but I am super happy with the result! The patterns for our dresses were drafted ourselves and built around cheap H&M bras which worked excellently. Our staffs were $5 curtain rods from Target with lots of wire and model magic. Of course I was a moron and didn't leave enough red spandex to make leggings from, so I had to order red tights and make slip-on leg straps in a last minute frenzy on Thursday night in my hotel room (con mom Rita was a saint helping me measure and angle them out until 1am).

Personal Thoughts:
Oh my god let me tell you about some Bitches 5. These hos are my favorite Sailor Moon villains from my favorite season and I've kind of secretly wanted a group of these costumes since high school. CYPEROUS AND PETROLEUM (aka Pti-LOL) were something Umister and I had planned forever and finally decided to do when she came back from Korea and into my loving arms. And after a whole lot of cast shuffling we somehow managed to get the entire group together in two days before the con, and all was right with the world. Eudial (red) is Vivalavivi, Mimete (yellow) is M. Alice LeGrow, Telulu (green) is Cyberbird, Viluy (ice blue) is Tess, Cyprine (twin blue) is Umister, and the super hot Kaolinite was a great gal who happened upon our group!
