Personal Thoughts:

I've loved Chiho Saito's color scheme for the manga version WAY more than the colors they chose for the anime since I was 15. This costume has been on my "to-do" list for years. Then, Chiho Saito was invited as a guest to Animazement in 2010. I made the decision to go to the con (my first year) just so I can attend her panels. I made the manga version of Utena for myself & the manga rosebride of Anthy for my girlfriend. We were SO SHOCKED when Chiho Saito asked US for a photo (I didn't fangirl in front of her, but I was INSANELY flattered). It's one of my happiest con memories today. <3 The Sword of Dios was made by my friends AmazonMandy & TheMattyShow <3 I also wore this costume to Anime Mid Atlantic 2010 (two weeks later) to judge the masquerade in (it's such a comfortable costume I had no problem wearing it for several hours). I'm hoping to bring it to more conventions in the future as it's quickly becoming one of my favorites!
