Construction Details:

I made this for the cosplay picnic in Toronto, on center island. My friend Straywind was going as Snow White, so I decided to surprise her by going as another Disney Princess! The tail was made of a stretch lame, the waist fin is organza as is the tail, with aqua satin and a foam piece in the fin to give it structure. The top is a matte satin with foam on the inside, I then sewed over it to create the shell look. There is also bra cups sewn into the top to keep it in place. The wig is Linda XXL in henna red from cosworx; the water lily I found at a dollar store and added a clip to it to go in my hair. The amount of kids who got their photo with me was crazy!! I felt like a disney land mascot, me and Straywind were stopped sooo much!! Everyone knows Disney!!

Personal Thoughts:

The fact that I was stopped by two little girls (when I had my wig on and normal clothes) they made their Mom follow me around the ferry docks cause they were convinced I was the real Ariel LOL!!
