Construction Details:

Oh this costume... it's such a bittersweet memory for me, but I think I'm still happy with it..? xD; The corset is made from vinyl and duckcloth. I used industrial strength zip ties for boning since a friend suggested them to me, but the next corset I make I'll definitely use something sturdier... I think the vinyl was too much for the zip ties to handle ^^;. The skirt is bridal satin, and has a little "mini-petti" made of tulle to make it poof out at the hips slightly. The straps you see on the dress are actually a part of the harness that keeps the wings on. The wings are my favorite part

Personal Thoughts:

Miaka-chan and I pulled these Clover costumes together in the 2 weeks before Fanime, in an all-out effort to compete at the WCS preliminaries! I love Clover and have wanted to cosplay from it for ages, and it seemed like a perfect fit for the competition at hand ~ we ended up taking second place, not too shabby
