Construction Details:

This was my first suit jacket EVER. EEEEVVEEEEERRR. And my cat was vomiting all over the place while I was finishing it, so needless to say, it got a little stressful towards the end. The way the lapels fit into the jacket was tough, as was the way they wanted me to put in the lining, and it didn't help that the pattern's directions were not the clearest for a first timer. But I pulled it off, and I think next time around I can do it even better! The pants, on the other hand were a piece of cake-er, pizza! Italy makes me laugh. I love that little pasta eating surrender monkey. I have a lot of fun wearing him, particularly with my husband Monty as Germany, and my friend Henry as Japan. Give me a few white Russians and I'll be totally in character, too >.>
