Construction Details:

This was put together with a lot of scrap fabric I had left over from various other costumes; as a result its almost a giant scrapbook of my cosplay history! The genie pants I made using leftover fabric from my Princess Tutu wings and the same yoga pant pattern I had used for JunJun. The sash has strips of fabric from Sango, Rosette, Fran, and Crisis Core Tifa sewn together and it is attached around the waist with snaps. For the turban I dyed white fabric leftover from Ruby to a shade of indigo blue using RIT Dye for the base. I then added more scraps, including beading from Amano Rinoa and star spangled fabric from a wall hanging I used to have in my college dorm room. The necklace is made from wood, painted blue and beaded with Amano Rinoa remnants. The shoes are my favorite eBay find; they are made from blue velvet and I decorated them with leftover beads from Princess Reina. The paint palette I borrowed from my grandmother's collection, as she was a painter.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Relm; she's cute, she's sassy, and her weapon is a paintbrush. When Stardust was getting a Final Fantasy VI group together and asked me to be Relm, how could I resist?
