Construction Details:

The kimono are custom-tailored to fit the look of the anime, rather than historical accuracy. The sash is entirely pieced, there is no paint or applique on it. The wings feature spring-loaded elbow joints for getting through doorways, and are fully feathered front and back. The staff is paperclay on a balsa wood base.
