Construction Details:

I made this entire dress with leftover fabric from Sailor Aurora, using a vintage 1950's Vogue pattern, so all the darts and seams mirror the fashion of that time period. The wig is my absolute favorite part of the costume, it's the perfect color and SO SOFT. The bangs aren't 100% perfect, but they make me happy for now!

Personal Thoughts:

These amazing designs were created by Kim Sage and Becky Wong, where they drew four of the Disney princesses in alternate dresses based on the fashions of the time period their film was released. You can find them on page 165 of the book "The Art of the Disney Princess". M. Alice LeGrow is 1950 Cinderella, Runichan is 1937 Snow White, Twilitesea is 1991 Belle, and Angie is 1992 Jasmine. We had an absolute blast wearing these and taking photos with little kids at the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. :3
