Construction Details:

Some notes about the construction. Had never made a coat like this so a few mock-ups to get the tails to lay the way I wanted. I also wanted EPIC!shoulders, so I'm glad I got 'em. >: D Hardest part was all the the trim and internal gold designs. I used my trademark understitching for the outside trim, and a lot of handsewing for the internal gold lines. Everything was 100% made and drafted by me. Wig was cut and styled by me as well.

Personal Thoughts:

I had always wanted to make Zero's costume-- in a perfect world, I'd like to make all of Lelouch's outfits, but I'm sure that's not going to happen! I greatly prefer R2 Zero over R1 Zero-- tail coat over body suit any day!! Probably the only reason I finished this costume already was thanks to Crystalike, who invited me to do a photoshoot with her a C.C. and I was all for that! Due to time and school, I decided to skip the cape and helmet, but honestly the suit part is my favorite part of the costume. It's regal.
