Construction Details:

I am so happy with certain parts of this costume and so distressed with others. I really need to remake the gloves, shoes and bracelets, uugh. This costume is so deceptively difficult. EDIT: Okay, so. I remade like. Everything. And by everything I mean the gloves, bracelets, shoes and revamped the wig wig big time. This costume is STILL my white whale, and I'm still not 100% done working on it, but I'm much happier with my results the second time around!

Personal Thoughts:

AAAAAH my beautiful Gurren-Dan! Now if only we had a Simon, lol. It was so much fun to do this version of Yoko, even though I don't really like pre time skip all that much. Just getting to cosplay gurren lagann with people who're really into it was a BLAST!

EDIT: I am completely beyond thrilled with the incredibly fabulous pictures Jessie took for me! She's been trying to get me to go to the Coney Island beach ever since I met her to take Yoko pictures, and we finally did it and it was AMAZING! Despite some unwarranted harassment the shoot went fantastically and kdjfhlsdgjhblshkf I am so pleased. Thanks so much to Tadas for being the defuser bitch, and Jessie for making me look so good <3
