Construction Details:

Everything was patterned by myself =] Red Skirt: 14 feet of rouched casa Satin. I'm so glad the rouching came out so nicely!! (there's a 5 hoop hoop skirt underneath) Black Skirt: Is an over lay skit that wraps around and snaps together. Also made out of Casa Satin.The gold detailing is gold silk I cut out heat and bonded then satin stitched all the edges. The large gold scallops were cut out sewn and roll hemmed on the top them top stitched on. Top: Black and red casa satin boned and decorated with gold bias tape. I made my own silk bias tape for it and top stitched it right on the bodice and sleeves. Back has a separating zipper. White portion of sleeves are cotton and were roll hemmed then box pleated. Gems were casted by me with sculpey for trim details and the bows are just a pink cotton. Wig was pulled back into the ponytail and the bun was stitched over it.
