Construction Details:

This costume started out being made way before the con and then of course I let it sit and then made pretty much all of it in the three days before the con. The hoopskirt was altered from a normal hoopskirt by taking out the top ring and decreasing the size in the lower rings. The underskirt is a nice cotton that was super gathered and then had five million yards of box pleats sewn to the bottom. The skirt is a circle skirt with part of it taken out and replaced with that front panel which is also pleated. The capelet is made of velvet and lined with stretch satin, the top is the same satin with box pleats on the sleeves. All the crosses were made with heat n' bond. The wig was styled in the room from loose extensions and a bob wig. The bows were also made in the room from velvet and the Katsucon 2010 program guide paper pages. Ghetto interfacing FTW.
