Construction Details:

WHERE TO BEGIN. Normally I don't write much in Constr. because it's hard to explain myself. So this entire costume is draped to the mannequin + hoopskirt. Skirt itself is massive, it took up my entire room. I can't really walk through doors either lol. All the gold is silk I made into bias tape myself, I wish I could figure a way to make it more pointed on the wing tips, I'll keep working on that. The red ruching is about 10 yards of red silk, but it doesn't look big enough, I might kick it up to 15. The costume itself wasn't too hard, it just took A LONG TIME. I think maybe about 2 weeks total time? I know I spent at least 2 full days working on the eagle wings in front of Lawnorder. I ended up barely finishing it in time for ALA06 since I ended up having to remake a few costumes for people, I was lucky enough to have AznTranquility & Shadownet752 sew the rest of the costume on me at the end since what sense would it make to have a dress form at a con lol. The red gems are from Wind of the Stars, and Shadownet752 made my opium pipe. I probably wouldn't have finished this without everyone's help with last minute snaps and what not, you guys know who you are.
