& now I realize I did the part on the wrong side. SORRY CHAS. Chas's friend from ~out of country~ was doing Himawari's goldfish kimono, and she wanted to join her~ and after joking around on Twitter I admitted I had wanted to do Doumeki. So then yukata happened. I took the pattern from a yukata I actually found in a Goodwill outside of JapanTown in San Francisco a few years back and extended the sleeves a bit. The butterflies and the circles containing them are all appliquéd with Heat & Bond. Thanks to Sasu for letting me borrow her shoes! :D noncredited photo by Yoshikochan on LJ :D

Personal Thoughts:

I don't even know, I sewed things backwards, shortened the sleeves too much and had to redo... I shouldn't sew when sick ever.
