Construction Details:

I somehow managed to find a pattern in my bottomless bin that was MADE for this costume, so I whipped this thing up rather quickly, though the green ruffles were a pain to measure and match up. The gold crown was originally a Wonder Woman promo crown I got at NYCC that I cut out and routed and re-touched because I'm cheap. The part of this dress that drove me out of my mind was casting all the red gems; it was my first time working with resin and it got EVERYWHERE. I made a bigger batch than I needed and my garage smelled horrible for weeks. ;_;

Personal Thoughts:

I had an idea for a cute little skit involving all the FF heroines from I through X, and managed to get enough friends together at AnimeUSA to make it happen! I was kind of torn as to which character I wanted to be, or who I could actually pull off, but went with Sarah after I found the render of her from the Dawn of Souls re-release. I liked her cute, simple little gown and her seafoam green hair! Nobody knew who I was supposed to be, since most people remember Sarah as an orange-haired sprite in a red dress, but kind of figured it out when we were all lined up :3 I had so much fun in this costume and it was very easy to make and wear!
