Construction Details:

This kimono was designed by Mokona; she created a seasonal line, and then drew some of her characters modeling them. I loved Hokuto's pretty green butterfly kimono with the secret Mokonas hidden in the leaves. Putting the enormous applique on was stressful, but I love the look! Unfortunately, I'm not talented enough to dress myself in this, I need help from my cosplay partner Ringo. Too much crazy folding and complicated underthings!
