Construction Details:

Um... the head tails are retired until I can figure out how to make them better or buy them, but I still wear the costume itself as a sort of alternate Jedi. I like it a lot. The fabric took me quite awhile to track down. Who knew linen blend gauze was so hard to find?

Personal Thoughts:

Fabric swatching is definitely worthwhile when you're working on a personal design. I went though a lot of different earthy fabrics when I was looking around for this, though I kinda knew in the back of my mind I wanted to match the movie fabric look (cotton gauze). I like the linen better for this though, since it hangs a little heavier.
