Construction Details:

Spent ages trying to find the right color of fleece and trying to dye a white knit into the right shade of burnt sienna for the leggings. Dyeing went awry, I found the right color of fleece, but it was the last of a bolt from an obscure fabric manufacturer and didn't have enough (but I bought it anyway).
After putting this costume off for a few months, I finally decided I was just going to have to work around these obstacles. I found out I had enough of the fleece to make the top, I just didn't have enough for the collar, so I figured I could change it with some darker fabric and still be okay. I ended up making a weird mix of colors of fabric paint in order to get the striping on the leggings. They probably could have come out better. =/
Heat & Bonded the circle on the middle, then Satin Stitched around it. Due to time constraints and being rushed, the middle circle isn't as nice as I would have liked it to be. But it's alright.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume made me realize that I shouldn't worry so much about everything. In the end it turned out alright and people recognized me and I had fun in it. (Not to mention it was super comfortable to wear! The only discomfort was to my neck after wearing that ponytail for hours on end)
