Loved the illustrations when they came out! My cosplay group was forming an OS-tan group (that sadly, never came to fruition) but I still made Mac! It was my first leotard and cutting/covering foam experience. I wanted to make a huge Mac bomb, but couldn't find anything (again, a few days before the con) and then a friend suggested the spinning beach-ball of doom, which worked out perfectly! I also carried a sign that said "User-Friendly" on one side, and a big "NOT" on the other! :D
