Construction Details:

My first ever completely-made-by-me cosplay. :'D Took something like 10 yards of black satin, 7 yards of white satin, plus an array of spandex for the mask base. The wings are made of thin plywood, which is attached to a strap under the mask via a magnet. Roses were dyed by me, which actually didn't work out too well... so the final product you see here is thanks to spray paint! XD

Personal Thoughts:

Going into this project, I had little-to-no sewing experience under my belt. XD So for the past three months, this cosplay has taught me so many different sewing techniques that I think I can easily handle just about anything now. XD; The wings are really a pain to wear (not because I can't see; I actually can, even though it's not clearly); but they're literally a PAIN to wear. It's really uncomfortable, but it's so worth it in the end. :3
