Construction Details:

First off, I immediately have to thank Queen_Kaya for quilting the faux vest leather, since I couldn't do it. >_< Next, I made the vest! It's chocolate brown just like the cover of volume 8, quilted, with a double zipper, and a silver brocade lining that matches my Matt vest. I wear my own leather jacket on top to cover my very unattractive arms. I added grommets to the pants so that they can lace up, altered the gloves so that they snap shot at my wrists, and everything else was slowly collected over two years. I debuted this costume at New York Anime Festival 2009, on Friday. Wearing that amount of leather does a lot for a girl's confidence.
