Construction Details:

Patterns drafted by me, details on the skirt are hand painted. Armor pieces were made with model magic and wonderflex. Tonfas were created with pvc pipe, model magic, a dowel rod and pink insulation foam ( tutorial : http://ildustbunnyil.livejournal.com/1541.html) Cresent Blades were made to replace the broken tonfas. They are made of 3/4" ply wood cut and sanded to shape, a 1.25" dowel makes the handle. A coat of hand painted acrylic finishes them off. These were added for Katsucon 2010. Wig was styled by me.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my favorite costumes to date. I love Talim, she is by far my favorite of the SoulCal girls with Tira at a close second. Her costume was so fun to make because of all of the difficult pieces. I love her weapons, they are so fun to pose with.
