Construction Details:

Patterns were hand drafted by me, gold details were embroidered using an applique method. Personal Thoughts:

I am still very proud of the craftsmanship on this costume even 2 years later. I am so glad I was finally able to get some high quality shots of the costume. It is still one of my favorites.

Styling Notes

The wig was released from it's high pigtails and was amazingly thick. I trimmed the wig to the correct length using a razor and thinning shears. Then I split each pigtail in half to create Talim's signature hairstyle, and teased them a bit to give them the correct thickness (however not much teasing was needed). Decorative cuffs made out of model magic were attached to each pigtail. The bangs were slicked back into the sides of the wig, but some wisps were left out to create softness.
