About this Costume
Construction Details:
The top was a modified halter top, Abes symbol is made out of rubber clay for flexibility, lace trim is all hand dyed.
My belt bag was a commission from a fantastic cosplayer, Nyuget, from Cosplay.com.
I have two sets of guns. My "stunt" set were made out of foam core board and model magic and my fancy pair were the official controllers that I bought for myself as an Xmas gift.
Boots are a pair of Volatile's that I took the top belt off of and then replaced the laces.
Booty shorts were one of those miraculous finds in a hoochie-mama mall store. Should it REALLY be so difficult to find faux denim booty shorts?!?!
I made my side skirt from crepe cotton, dip dyed it, and cut out all the trim. I'm still not exactly happy with the gradient. It's not as dramatic as I would have liked it, but I'm too lazy to remake the entire thing just because of that tiny detail. :/
Hairtail was made using KairiG's tutorial.
Earring is made with lightweight sculpy and then painted. I initially had it on a pierced post but after wearing it all day, it ended up making my ear angry so I switched it out for a clip-on post.
Wristwrap was a pain in the butt since I made it out of real leather. It's hard to sew snaps onto that stuff!
Contacts were Freshlooks but then I discovered the magic of PinkyParadise and they are now green and blue Super Pinky lenses.
Personal Thoughts:
Such a nit-picky costume for something so little! I had a hard time finding pieces and materials that matched the art just the way I wanted, so this one was a work in progress since the game came out. >
