Construction Details:

I JUST DON'T EVEN. Too many yards of sequin fabric and bottles of Martha Stewart glitter died in making this thing. Most of the outfit was purchased from We Love Colors (a site I swear by), I altered the neckline of the bodysuit and made the leg fins, bows, garter, and bolero. I picked Jupiter because I love green and wanted to work with a color that I wouldn't get sick of seeing. The costumes were designed by Marty/M. Alice LeGrow (who also planned and choreographed the entire halftime dance for the AnimeNext masquerade), so all I had to do was make the outfit, learn the dance, and lose all of my dignity! Woohoo!

Personal Thoughts:

I actually kind of love this costume. It's such a horrific glittery tacky eyesore but it was SO MUCH FUN TO WEAR. I don't think I ever had as much fun in an actual senshi fuku than I did wearing this. YEAH BUDDY.
