About this Costume
Construction Details:
ZZ Gundam. The special child of the Gundam Family. I'm not going to lie. I wanted to do this cosplay mostly because I love his super 80s jacket. The Marty Macfly/Michael Jackson thing going on is just TOTALLY AWESOME in a Saved-By-the-Back-To-the-Future-Bell-way. Which, actually, is just the sort of crazy atmosphere from the Double Zeta anime! The jeans I altered to be super skinny from cheap pair of stretch-denim I had laying around for another cos that never got finished. Recycled from boring straightleg to more fasionable style. I even have red flats of the same color as my jacket.. and almost same denim. Needless to say.. given the 80s comeback these days, I use both pieces frequently in my everyday wear. My hip Zeta shades are a party favor/gift from Prince Ali
Personal Thoughts:
I've always wanted better photos of this cos in the proper setting, and the closest thing to a full-on junkyard shoot was made possible with Dust's assistance X3 I've had these weird slogans brewing in my head forever, finally get to play with photos and type
