Construction Details:

Coat was modified from a Simplicity pattern (oh how I love Simplicity) while the rest was gathered from various sources, though the skirt was shortened so it'd fit under the coat. I've never had to make a wide button lapel before; so much fabric to sew through. Wig is from eBay seller cosplaywigs, where I plan on getting a longer version of the same color since Saki's hair is longer than the one I have.

Personal Thoughts:

Note to self: Stop wearing this at hot-weather cons. I love this series! Wore this as a part of ACP and FUNimation's promotion of Eden of the East at Anime Expo 2010. Meeting the creator, art director, and producer of the series was a definite highlight. It was also great finally getting recognized in costume while wandering the con (promotion worked!).
