Construction Details:

I made this costume for the Funimation/ACP Romeo x Juliet premiere at Anime Boston. I wanted an excuse to make a poof poof dress, and Hermione happened to be a blonde chick in a mint green gown, which is really all the convincing I needed. I spent a lot of time on my back measuring out all the petals and curves on this baby and went through many packs of bias tape. The skirt has two layers and attaches separately from the blouse at the top. I made the hairpiece and jewelry and the lovely Dia lent me her vintage suede gloves. I kind of regret not getting a wig for this, but at the time, I couldn't justify spending the money.

Personal Thoughts:

Hermione needs some serious lessons in hairstyling, 'cause damn.
