Construction Details:

REMAKE TIME. Kidd is such an amazing character, my first attempt at the costume really didn't do the girl any justice. This time around I have a wig, I made my own bias tape--it was a process that involved lots of cutting, folding, and TRIANGLES, all of which were carefully stitched into place as opposed to the gaudy paint job the last costume received. The coat was sewn together with the help of a modified pattern and the skirt pattern was something I drafted myself. The dagger was made from a sheet of plastic and model magic, the sheath was foamies. Unfortunately, I'm still a novice when it comes to props! I made the gloves out of suede.

Personal Thoughts:

It's nice to have a little comfy costume to wear around for a change. =) I enjoy representing Kidd, she's a lot of fun. This one has seen many many cons.
