Construction Details:

This costume was a new challenge for me because Countess Lenore and I had to make identical school uniforms without living near each other. Not only that but we also have very different ways of sewing. So, I had to pretty much think the way she does and try out some things I don't normally do. I really loved the wig I bought from ebay. It came down to 3 different wigs, but my mom insisted that I get the one that I ended up buying. I'm glad I went with her opinion because when I received it in the mail, it was exactly what I wanted! ^_^

Personal Thoughts:

Countess Lenore asked me to be her Chikane. I whole heartedly excepted. I've been a fan of the show since it came out in Japan and for years have always wanted to cosplay from it. kannazuki no Miko is right up my alley. Yuri+mech+love triangle=a happy Darcy. Plus, the theme song Re-sublimity is my favorite theme song ever for an anime! It got me to be a huge fan of Kotoko & I'ves. Kannazuki no miko is a must see for any romance or mech fan. Great techno music and character design!
