About this Costume
- Construction Details:
- The dress was made using a simple McCall's pattern, using Kona cotton fabric, and I was able to find some white ruffle trim for the bottom... my own personal touch to the costume, since the dress is really super plain looking otherwise. Plus I couldn't decide -how- I wanted to paint the stupid flowers, so I never got around to doing it. ^^; I made the hair bows myself, and they attach to the ponytail holders with velcro, sandals were purchased from Payless for a whopping $10. lol I made tuna-chan out of leftover fabric from my Ibis costume, I thought it would be funny to give him a frumpy face and googly eyes. XD btw, tuna-chan's size is based off a fanart I have saved, which was long before I saw the Hetalia trading cards. Oh well. @_@
- Personal Thoughts:
- Adora dragged me into this whole Hetalia madness, so after checking out the scanlations, I approved of her suggestion to cosplay as Seychelles! I love that wig to death, and for once I can say I'm not tan or dark enough to cosplay a certain character. lmao XD;; I'd like to remake tuna-chan for the next time I plan on wearing this costume!

- Styling Notes
- I part this sucker down the middle and attach the bows. TA DA!
