Construction Details:

Something about her character really struck a chord with me. And I love the idea of being able to raid my toolbox for props! I did a blend of the anime and manga versions, drawing, in particular, from a variation of her tunic/jacket in Volume 11 of the manga in which she's wearing cropped trousers, not a dress. I did have pince nez originally, but I managed to drop them on a tiled floor, so that was pretty much their end. It's a very comfortable costume to wear and gets great reactions at cons. Oddly, I can't seem to find a picture of the back of the costume while I'm wearing it, but the apron does have the slightly complicated crossed straps as seen in the manga & anime. Overall, a fun choice!
