Construction Details:

If boredom is the mother of many a invention than this dress takes the cake! Many of you may be experiencing the same god awful weather phenomenon around the US called snow...lots of snow and know what I mean. Since I have been stranded at home with no means of going out i decided to have a look through my fabric bins to see what i could use and what needed to be thrown away when i came upon a large stash of blue fabric i seemed to have forgotten about. So I figured it would make a good lolita costume if nothing else. Everything on this dress is hand made even the trim which took hours to do with a serging machine. I had to pre gather and cut all the satin lace myself and attach it by hand to the dress. This dress design I created myself since I had only a few yards of fabric i tried to make every bit count. So yeah, most everything on this dress was once scrap material destined for the garbage can but i managed to use it all!
