Construction Details:

The white skirting is made from a beautiful white satin and is pleated around the waist and zips up the back for a snug fit. The top is made in three layers; the white outer most layer, the light purple chiffon layer, and the inner most forest green satin layer. The white and purple are fully made kimono like tops, while the green layer is a cheater collar that folds over. The obi bodice piece was made from and pink rose colored satin and is fully lined and boned for support. The bow itself is made from the same material as the obi and is stuffed to give a stiffer fluffed appearance. All of the detailing is hand painted on in a mixture of three different blues, metallic greens, and a little white. The goldfish are heat and bonded fish of different sizes from two different types of gold brocades.
