Construction Details:

This costume was harder than it looked! But I'm pleased with how it turned out! The wands were made by my Uncle, under my direction and preperation of all the materials. Symbol(s) were "designed" by myself in Illustrator. I drafted the dress pattern myself, my first time doing so without any aid of a set pattern. The cape and hat patterns were drafted by CountessLenore, so as to have us match. Shoes began as just red pumps, painted the heels black, and out of vinyl made the panels of the shoe that go almost over the foot but not completely, wrestled with how to make the shoe "cuffs", finally just resorted to craft foam. The gloves and my pantyhose were the only parts of this costume that were bought.

Personal Thoughts:

While this costume frustrated me a bit, I'm so happy with how it turned out, and even more so to finally cosplay as Sae Sawanaguchi. One of my favorite characters ever. She's such a sweetie!
