Construction Details:

When I chose to make Waka, I wanted to choose textiles that would mimic the sumi-e style of art in the game. Pants are reproduction Japanese field pants made from a cotton batik. Inner juuban is red cotton and the outer kimono is the wrong side of a slubby salmon satin. The headpiece is craft foam over a beanie hat, with the wings wired and sewn into the back. The tengu geta are 5" tall, direct from Japan, and super easy to walk in!
