Construction Details:

Never really made something like the hat before. I draped some fabric over a styrofoam head and tried to figure out where to go from there. I used furniture foam for the ears. The crown stays firmly on top of my head even when playing ddr. The eyelashes really completed the look! I found them at a beauty supply store.

Personal Thoughts:

One of my goals for this year was to be able to play ddr, since I was so horrible at it. I worked hard and I can finally play on standard mode. This brought up the idea for my birthday party this year. We went to an arcade that had all Japanese games and I got to play DDR 5th mix ( my favorite) in my Princess Zukin costume. Funny enough, the owner of the arcade actually knew who I was cosplaying! ^_^ It was an over all awesome day!
