Construction Details:

I was cast in my friend Vikki's Otakon skit as Giselle, and I had to make the outfit from the scene in the film we were re-creating. It fits like a dream! Every single flower on this dress was cut out and ironed on from transfer paper, from my own drawings that I scanned into my computer and reprinted over a dozen times. I stared at many, many production and showcase images to get the details right.

Personal Thoughts:

It feels so, so nice to have a Giselle dress I can MOVE in for once! I'm incredibly proud of this costume. I kept it on all day and well into the night.
