About this Costume
Construction Details:
The only things reused from my first costume are the belt buckle and wig, which was completely restyled with more accurate spikes now that I had the RAH DX figure to use as a reference! :3 I bought all new fabrics in vibrant colors, and decided to purchase a navy blue unitard this time instead of killing myself over attempting to dye it again. Construction-wise everything was done the same way with some minor adjustments here and there, and instead of removable shoe covers, everything is glued directly onto the base shoes (a $15 pair of Bratz shoes from Payless, haha). I used button covers for the first time, and despite the size they eat up a good chunk of my cosplay budget whether I like it or not. Sheesh.

Personal Thoughts:
I made a lot of mistakes with my first costume, so naturally I wanted to improve it and make it even better! It's really amazing to see just how much I've improved in a year's time! I purchased and styled a brand new wig as seen in my AWA15 and ALA6 pictures. ^^

Styling Notes
I had a lot of fun styling my 2nd Allenby wig, now that I had a better idea of wtf I'm supposed to do. XD I'm not good at trimming wigs still, so trimming the bangs took much longer than actually spiking the wig using got2b spiking glue. I used several t-pins to hold each spike in place while the product dried.
Wig Review
The wig is perfect for what I needed, it's bright without being a neon-ish color, and thick! I bought extensions thinking I would have to hand sew them into add thickness, and turns out I didn't need them at all. I wish they'd bring the old CosWorx line back, I really miss the colors and styles they used to offer!
